Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Summary

You can cancel your subscription at any time
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
You keep full access until that date
Subscription fees are non-refundable
One-time query top-ups are non-refundable once used

2. Cancelling your subscription

You may cancel at any time from your account settings, or by emailing info@usino.ai.

When you cancel:

Your subscription stops renewing
You keep access to your paid tier until the end of the period you have already paid for
At the end of that period, your account moves to the free tier
You are not charged again

There is no cancellation fee and no minimum contract term.

3. Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable.

This includes:

Partial or unused portions of a billing period
Unused query allowances
Periods during which you did not use the Service
Fees already charged before you cancelled

Because you keep access for the full period you have paid for, cancelling early does not produce a refund.

4. Query top-ups

Top-up purchases add extra queries to your account. They are non-refundable once credited.

Unused top-up credits:

Remain on your account while your account is open
Are not exchangeable for cash
Are lost if your account is closed or terminated

5. When we will issue a refund

Despite section 3, we will refund you where:

Duplicate charge. You were charged more than once for the same subscription period due to a technical or billing error.

Charge after cancellation. You were charged after validly cancelling.

Unauthorised charge. A charge was made without your authorisation, confirmed after our investigation.

Extended outage. The Service was unavailable for a substantial and continuous period during your billing cycle due to a fault on our side. We will refund a proportionate amount or extend your subscription, at your choice.

Required by law. Where Singapore law or another applicable law entitles you to a refund.

6. How to request a refund

Email info@usino.ai with:

The email address on your account
The date and amount of the charge
What went wrong

We will acknowledge within 2 business days and aim to resolve within 10 business days.

Approved refunds go back to your original payment method. Your bank or card issuer usually takes a further 5 to 10 business days to show the credit.

7. Price changes

If we increase the price of your plan, we will notify you by email before the change applies to you. You may cancel before the new price takes effect. Continuing after that date means you accept the new price.

8. Free tier and beta access

The free tier costs nothing, so no refund applies.

During our beta period, access to paid tiers may be granted by invitation at no charge. Complimentary access:

Carries no payment obligation
Creates no entitlement to a refund
May be changed or withdrawn at our discretion, with reasonable notice

9. Accounts we suspend or terminate

If we suspend or terminate your account because you breached our Terms of Service, no refund is due for the remainder of your billing period.

If we terminate your account for any other reason, or discontinue the Service, we will refund the unused portion of your current billing period.

10. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us before raising a dispute with your bank or card issuer. Most issues are resolved quickly and directly.

Where a chargeback is raised without contacting us first, we may suspend the account while the dispute is investigated.
